Tulili is situated near some of the most-famous cenotes that Mexico has to offer. Along the same road as our private retreat is the amazing Dos Ojos, a flooded cave system that offers some of the most unique scuba diving in the world. Along the same stretch of road is The Pit, the deepest known cave passage in Quintana Roo with 118 meters of depth. Alongside these two internationally renowned areas are a number of smaller but perfectly formed cenotes, such as Jaguar, Motz Sai Ha, Nicte-ha and Cenote Misterio Maya, which are great for a lazy day in and around the freshwater.
The closest beach to Tulili is the beautiful nature reserve Xcacel; it’s the number one beach where turtles go and a local’s favorite! Nestled away in a remote location, enjoy soft sand beaches and amazing off-shore snorkeling. Unknown to many, X’cacel also has a small mangrove cenote for freshwater swimming. A secluded gem that is the epitome of tropical eye candy.
If you want to take your yoga experience to the next level, why not try out your skills on a paddle board in a private lagoon with our good friends at Sup Yoga. Entry into the lagoon with equipment is included for your 1.5 hour Boga Yoga floating class, plus a high-res photo session, an organic detox cold-pressed juice, a raw vegan energy ball and transport back to the original meeting point.
Just up the road from our retreat is the Xel-Ha water park, regarded as one of the world’s greatest natural wonders. Xel-Há provides one of the best experiences in the heart of the Riviera Maya for snorkeling, where you’ll see hundreds of colorful fish and the great diversity of marine species that inhabit its cove and cenotes. At this all-inclusive park, you can enjoy water activities, ecological attractions, restaurants and the best scenery to admire while you relax in a hammock or stroll the nooks and crannies of Xel-Há. Immerse yourself in one of the cenotes, lagoons or caves and enjoy the aquatic zip-lines.
